Your treatment program
On referral to the clinic, you will undertgo a thourough diagnostic examination to identifgy they type of wound you have. We also will work to understand and deal with any underlying problems complicating the wound. As this evaluation continues, we will begin a program specifically tailored to your needs and based on the most effective treatment options. When appropriate, our physicians will ask other health care providers to help evaluate and treat your wound. The goal is a treatment regimen that offers the fastest route to wound healing. We are pleased to offer many of the latest technologies, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

After we have started treatment, you will visit the clinic regularly for wound care. You will be told how to care for your wound between visits. If you cannot care for your wound, we will help make arrangements to provide you with proper care. It is important to remember that you are a key part of our wound healing team. Keeping appointments and following our instructions at home are essential to your wound care plan.
